The Tests
All tests, except the Career Report, are free. The Career Report uses your own text-based answers, combined with any other tests taken on the site, to provide a highly customised and detailed analysis.
Test 01
Get your Big Five OCEAN profile, the most scientifically validated personality framework in existence. We also give you your MBTI-style four-letter code, and explain exactly what it's worth (and what it isn't).
Test 02
A self-screening tool based on DSM-5 criteria, covering inattention, hyperactivity, impulsivity, and real-world impact. Not a diagnosis, but a genuinely useful starting point for understanding your own patterns.
Test 03
Map your position on the political compass across two axes - economic left/right and social libertarian/authoritarian - plus discover your moral foundations profile based on Jonathan Haidt's research.
Test 04
Enter your birth details to get your Sun sign, Moon sign, and element - then find out what scientific research has actually found about astrology. The tradition, the evidence, and the genuinely interesting bits.
Test 05

How It Works
No right answers, no trick questions. Rate each statement from Never to Always. The more honest you are, the more useful the results.
Instant, personalised results with your full score profile, a shareable results card, and plain-English explanations of what each dimension actually means.
We tell you what the research actually says about each result, which traits are stable, which can change, and what the evidence suggests about living with your profile.
Why Vituvi is Different
Most personality sites make money by telling you what you want to hear. We'd rather tell you what's true, even when that means pointing out the limits of the very tests we offer.
We think that's more interesting, more useful, and ultimately more respectful of your time.
The Science
The Big Five is the most scientifically validated personality framework in existence. Unlike most popular personality tests, it emerged from decades of independent research across cultures and languages, not from a single theory. Your scores reflect where you genuinely sit on five continuous traits that predict real-world outcomes: career satisfaction, relationship quality, health behaviours, and more. These aren't types or boxes; they're spectrums, and most people land somewhere in the middle of most of them. The research also shows that while these traits are partly inherited and relatively stable, some - particularly Conscientiousness and Agreeableness - shift meaningfully over a lifetime, especially with deliberate effort or life experience.
The four-letter type code you'll receive is culturally ubiquitous and scientifically contentious. The official MBTI instrument costs upwards of £40 per person and requires a certified administrator. More importantly, research consistently shows that between 40–50% of people receive a different four-letter result when retested just a few weeks later. That's not because people change; it's because personality traits exist on continuous spectrums, and forcing them into binary categories loses a lot of information. The type code here is derived from your Big Five scores, which are more reliable and more predictive. Think of your letters as a useful shorthand and conversation starter. Just don't use them to make hiring decisions or explain why you can't do the washing up.
